Medium is a fantastic platform to write. What you have in front of you is a stripped-down version of WordPress with a better UI and a lot fewer plugins. If you go the extra mile and actually talk about stuff people care about, your words will spread like wildfire.

For those of you who still don’t know what Medium is, it’s a blogging platform where you can write about anything. You can also give these posts the exposure they deserve by sharing them on your Facebook and Twitter profiles.

Writing doesn’t always come naturally or at least, not to everyone. If writing isn’t easy for you, it will take some time to get comfortable with this platform.

If you are trying to break out of a rut, Medium is the best place to do it. It will help you find your voice and build your confidence as a writer.

What should I write about on Medium?

The lack of guidelines can also be overwhelming. With that in mind, here are 21 blog post prompts that I hope will inspire one of your next posts.

  1. On your best day, what did you do that made it so great?
  2. What’s something you always say no to?
  3. What do you love about the people around you?
  4. Has your best friend ever said anything that stuck with you for a long time?
  5. If you could go back and tell you 20-year-old self one thing, what would it be?
  6. Who do you think of as your hero and why?
  7. What is your definition of success?
  8. How do you deal with failure?
  9. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
